The Alma Hunt Offering helps spur church planters into the mission field, including the micro church ministry of Jeremy and Monica Chambers.
The Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions supports not only ministry in Virginia but also the work of Virginia Baptists around the world.
This includes the partnership between Baptist General Association of Virginia and the More Than Nets Initiative, which has helped plant almost 500 churches in and around Ghana since 2014.

The Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions makes possible the summer ministry of CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center. CrossRoads offers leadership development to summer staffers in high school and college, and as a result, has helped many young adults discern a call to missions and ministry because of time spent at CrossRoads.

Offering continuing education as well as mission and prayer opportunities, BNF is growing in Virginia thanks to support from the Alma Hunt Offering.
The Alma Hunt offering, allowed Make Alo O to pivot from providing community prior to lockdown to delivering one month’s worth of groceries to 500 grandmothers and grandfathers every month.

As we move out of the isolation we’ve experienced, churches are beginning to think about how they can serve, and many are turning to disaster response.
In 2018, Virginia Baptists began a partnership on the Eastern Shore of Virginia with Cape Charles Baptist and other local churches. The relationship grew out of Impact Mission Camps and gave churches an opportunity to support ministries on the Eastern Shore.
Through the Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions, WMUV had the pleasure of awarding over $11,000 in grants across Virginia
