Collaborate

Missions is about “living it as you go.” There are lots of ways to be involved in missions at school, at work, in your neighborhood, and everywhere you go throughout your daily life. You can pray as you go. You can give as you go. You can tell others about Jesus as you go. In the name of Christ, you can meet the needs of the people you encounter as you go.

The Alma Hunt Offering helps Virginia Baptists to “live it as we go” in partnership with other ministries. During the Virginia Baptist Blitz Build, volunteers from Virginia Baptist churches were living their call as they helped build a new home for a mother and her daughter.

Every dollar given to the Alma Hunt Offering goes toward ministries that grow the Kingdom of Christ. Part of the offering supports the Venturer program, which is enabling Virginia Baptists of all ages and life stages to “live it as they go” and follow God’s call to minister in the U.S. and around the world.

Innovative new strategies are critical in reaching unchurched people – teaching new believers to “live it as they go.” Donations to the Alma Hunt Offering help provide new church grants which defray some of the costs of starting churches across the state.

When people contribute to the Alma Hunt Offering, they transform lives. At CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center, monies from the offering are at work helping children, youth, and adults learn to “live it as they go.”
